With the last one making over a billion see no reason why there would not be a fourth movie and possibly more.
According to to Michael Bay he has been in talks with Paramount and Hasbro about the continuation of the series but he will be making Pain and Gain first which Im actually pretty excited about , more so than his return to Transformers
I waited to post this until after Christmas so any Twins fans wouldn’t get their holiday ruined. No joke.
So this explains the mysterious absence. Since every remaining Autobot was being forced to leave on the Xanthium, I knew the Twins must be dead. But I assumed it happened somewhere between films, not like this. Ehren Kruger must harbor extreme feelings of hatred for the Twins.
This is legit, I didn’t just pull this story out of my twisted psyche to be mean. I hated those guys, and even I found this unsettling. Months after reading the book, I’m still pondering the visceral awfulness of it.
This is from the DOTM official novelization written by Peter David.
I did a quick browse and look-over of the quotes and such that were made… and… ugh. I don’t know. Most of them made me kinda upset. If he didn’t like Transformers as much as he claims, then why did he continue with it? Sure, it’s money, but… Eh. Making such statements towards the fandom as a whole made me a little mad. I’m also a TF fan, who reads the comics. Not only that, but I also read tons of other comics. Not just TF. Hell, I go to SDCC just so I can see what new comics are out there. :\
The generalization of the fandom as a whole was also quite in insulting to me as well, I also read alot of other comic titles from IDW and other publishers and the opinion that because I like Transformers I shouldnt like others comic books was rather upsetting as well as the insinuation that fans of comic books in general would never be interested in franchise that I have followed and enjoyed for my whole life.
I think that while he is entitled to these opinions, broadcasting them in this was very unprofessional and has affected how I look back at has run on this series in a negative way, I am however looking forward to the continuation of the IDW series with Robots in Disguise in the new year with hope that the writers of this series handle these characters with more respect to the foundation the creators of this mythos have laid down.
